The department is interested in a very important category in our community, through improving work environment and workers' health; in addition to the great concern with air pollution problems.
| This department contains two main specialties |
1. Occupational Health and Industrial Medicine:
This specialty is interested in prevention, and treatment of occupational diseases and injuries arise at the workplace in addition to rehabilitation of injured workers.
2. Occupational Hygiene and Air Pollution:
This specialty is interested in prediction; recognition, evaluation, and control of occupational hazards, and air pollution problems arise at work environment, and outdoor environment aiming at promotion of workers' health and safety; in addition to promotion of public health.
