Mission
The mission of the occupational health and air pollution department is to prepare future calibers and leaders in the fields of occupational health and industrial medicine, occupational safety, air pollution and biological monitoring of occupational hazards aiming at promoting both community and manpower's health, with emphasis on vulnerable groups. These can be achieved through its academic and training programmes in addition to consultation services that include:
Academic programs that develop the occupational health and air pollution sense among students and develop the capability of problem solving and decisions making to attain sustainable development.
Supervision on master and doctoral thesis and researches in the fields of occupational medicine, occupational hygiene, occupational safety, and air pollution.
Training programs to train on methods of assessment and management of occupational and air pollution hazards, occupational diseases and injuries.
Consulting services for most Egyptian companies and enterprises which include assessment and biological monitoring of occupational hazards, medical check up and control of hazards.
Environmental impact assessment studies for new projects, and policies to achieve sustainable development
