Quality Assurance and Accreditation Project (QAAP) strives to improve quality, efficiency and relevance of Higher Education in Egypt
QAAP2 is phase II of the Project and is governed by the National Quality assurance and Accreditation Agency (NQAAA) nominated by the Minister of Higher Education and State for Scientific Research
Project's Mission
The QAAP2 mission is consistent with that proposed for the NQAAA, which is:
"To ensure quality, continuous development and efficient performance of Egyptian higher education institutions, and to gain the confidence of the community in their graduates in accordance with internationally recognized evaluation mechanism"
Strategic Objectives
Support the quality assurance and accreditation process in Higher Education Institutions.
Support Higher Education Institutions through developmental engagement to establish their internal quality assurance systems.
Encourage institutions to be ready to apply for accreditation.
Develop the establishment of academic reference standards and benchmarks for academic programs across all H.E. Sectors.
Integrate a sustainable process.
Enhance capacity building and staff training in quality assurance.
Support continuing quality improvements.
