Call for Abstracts

GUIDELINES FOR ABSTRACT PREPARATION

A.General

Abstracts must be in English, as a Microsoft word file.
Complete information about corresponding author on Abstract Form
Abstract must be typed within the bordered area by replacing the sample abstract, using the Abstract Form .
Note: Abstracts received with content outside the border can not be accepted.
Please check abstracts thoroughly for spelling and grammar.
A separate form must be submitted for each abstract.
Please note all presenters must be registered participants of the conference.
Abstracts must be submitted by the closing date of September 20, 2009.

B.Content

The abstract should be an informative document able to stand alone in its content and meaning. It should be presented under the following headings to include:

Background/Objectives: Outline background and the specific purpose of the study, in no more than two sentences.
Methods: Briefly outline methods actually used, including tools and timeframe.
Results: A summary of results, including statistical significance, presented in sufficient detail to support the conclusions (It is not sufficient to say that results will be discussed).
Conclusions: Brief but clear conclusions drawn from the results shown.

C.Format

The abstract should not exceed 250 words including title, authors and institutions.
Single spaced within the frame of the Abstract Form .
The type of font used is Times New Roman (12 point).
Title in BOLD CAPITAL LETTERS beginning on the first line.
Authors names on a new line with family name followed by initial of the first name. Department, institution, city and country should follow on the next line.
Underline and bold the name of the presenting author.
Skip one line before commencing the text of the abstract. Do not indent text.
Use abbreviations with restraint. Terms must be spelt fully the first time they appear.

SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACTS

Abstracts may be submitted as attachment to alexhealth2009@hiph-egypt.net / alexhealth2009@gmail.com

Abstracts may be mailed or directly submitted to conference secretariat as a paper copy plus a CD Rom.

ABSTRACT ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

Acknowledgement of receipt of abstracts submitted by email will occur within 48 hours of submission.
Please note that all correspondence will be sent to the email address of the corresponding author as written in the abstract form.
Authors will be advised whether their abstracts have been accepted by September 30, 2009.

PUBLICATION OF ABSTRACTS

All accepted abstracts will be included in a confernce CD that will be distributed at the Conference.
